Vanessa Maydon heads up Merlin’s consulting in Private Equity and the Leisure Sector. Vanessa was formerly a Director of Ludgate Communications and Deputy Head of the Financials division where she focused primarily on the private equity and investment banking sectors, before she joined Merlin in July 2000.  She has advised companies in a wide range of sectors, in particular focusing on leisure, alternative assets and support services.

Vanessa has in-depth expertise of advising clients in the alternative assets sector including private equity firms CVC Capital Partners, Bridgepoint and Mezzanine Management. Vanessa is one of the leading PR advisers to the private equity sector and is a regular participant in the BVCA and EVCA. She is a graduate of the University of Durham with a BA Hons in Latin.
